In this video, we are going to be learning how to do the Fishbone Stitch and French Knot. These stitches are both used to fix a seam in fabric. The Fishbone Stitch is a fixed-stitch seam that lies horizontally across the grain of the fabric while the French Knot is a looped-stitch seam that lies vertically along the grain of the fabric. We will be using these stitches to repair a tear in an old pair of jeans. Click here to learn more about these stitches and watch the video for step-by-step instructions on how to do them.
